Hello family. God seems to be prompting me to do a few posts on dreams. Like everything with God, the most important thing about dreams from God (or otherwise) is to deepen our relationships with Him. Having experienced quite an interesting dream life over many years, it was such a blessing to learn a bit about how to handle them. So I'll attempt to share some helpful hints for anyone interested.

Are all dreams God-breathed? I don't believe so. Can we glean from "other" dreams? Sure. We can always walk away from every God conversation with more than we came with, right? Dreams can be influenced by things we are gong through, or dealing with. Taking them to Jesus can bring about a "lightbulb" moment, or maybe just give verbiage to things stirring under the surface. Dreams can also be influenced by the enemy at times. Whatever the source, you can't go wrong talking it over with Jesus.

Here are today's tips:

-Having a dream journal is a good idea.

-Keep it at your bedside.

-Get up and record the dream when you become aware of it, or details may fade.

-If you forget, just write what you remember, ask Holy Spirit for more, and it will often come right back.
